This is an arbitrary selection of available data templates appropriate for researchers which intend to '''deposit biological and environmental data files without objects''' in the natural history collections involved in GFBio. We will gradually optimise these data submission files and add additional information to fields and content. Templates for biological and environmental samples together with data files are not subject of this table, they can be found under [[Data_submission_forms_for_the_deposit_of_biological_and_environmental_samples|Data submission forms for the deposition of biological and environmental samples]].

PLEASE NOTE: This content is OUTDATED! It was generated and maintained in GFBio Phase 1&2. You find the most recent Templates under Data submission templates for biodiversity, ecological and collection data

To facilitate data submission for scientists interested in depositing their project results, GFBio provides standard excel templates commonly used in the involved natural history collections to document records on either biological and environmental physical samples (voucher objects) along with associated data on geographical and temporal occurrence or on observational data without deposition of physical vouchers, which is often the case in the context of established long-term monitoring projects. The following selection of excel templates is appropriate for deposition of biological and environmental data files without physical objects (vouchers). Templates for biological and environmental samples together with data files can be found under Data submission forms for the deposit of biological and environmental samples.

Please note that these templates are just examples drawing a picture of the way various data sets were submitted to GFBio in the past. They can be used as a base and extended by further information you want to mention. If you cannot find a template matching your data, do not hesitate to continue your submission nevertheless, we can get in contact and find a way!
