The given list is an extract of a market analysis of organizations and projects related to data management and/or biodiversity research in 2014 with focus on training, outreach and helpdesk activities. Simultaneously, we assessed material related to training, outreach and helpdesk of the listed organizations. The list is not exhaustive and should provide a short overview. We collected the primary data through an exploratory research design by snowball approach. The collected organizations were assigned to different categories regarding the main activity/ type of project. Furthermore, a comprehensive survey of the activities and provided materials in the area of training, outreach and helpdesk was performed. The type of collected information was in all cases categorical. (last update: 24.02.2016)
