== ABCD 2.06 as standard for data publication with GFBio consensus elements and GFBio use case ==

The GFBio initiative agreed to have the following ABCD 2.06 core elements as mandatory or recommended for datasets with biodiversity occurrence data, see [https://terms.tdwg.org/wiki/ABCD_2 wiki representation of ABCD 2.06]. 

All biodiversity & collection datasets to be published via the [https://www.gfbio.org/de/data/search GFBio portal] have to deliver information which is transfored to Pansimple and processed for the GFBio harvesting tool. The table below lists the elements for dissemination of "datasets" with "data records (= units)" structured according to ABCD. The document will be extended within the next years and modified following new ratified versions of ABCD, e.g. [https://abcd.biowikifarm.net/wiki/Main_Page ABCD 3.0].

The GFBio controlled vocabularies for Kingdom (=Regnum) and RecordBasis are provided by the [https://terminologies.gfbio.org/api/#!/Core_services/get_api_terminologies_terminology_id_term API] of the [https://terminologies.gfbio.org/ GFBio Terminology Service].
